1500 families across 24 GPMI centers in Metro Manila and in the provinces of Bulacan, Cavite and Rizal express their gratitude for the food supplies that they received. These are invaluable as they are not merely basic daily sustenance, but also provision for their crumbling morale.

Small business owners took a rough beating when they had to temporarily stop operations due to the community quarantine that has been in place for 7 weeks. With no business income and limited finance service available, there is very little resource to feed their families. According to one member, “25kg of rice and the canned products guarantee that my family have something to eat for a couple of weeks more.”

The emergency food relief is merely the first phase of a joint undertaking with Dana Asia.
