Members of Grameen Pilipinas Microfinance, Inc. were beset with emotions as they express their gratefulness to Ms. Yamaoka and to Dana Asia for strongly supporting the outreach program.

On June 10, 2020, almost two months since Metro Manila was placed in extreme lockdown, 100 family representatives in Cainta, Province of Rizal, patiently line up in wait while observing physical distancing.

GPMI members received food relief that consists of a sack of 25kg of rice, a bag of canned goods and assorted vegetable seeds to boost the productivity of the severely affected local farmers. The COVID-19 response was part of a series of relief action that started in May in Laguna.
